Description: Another fun branding design for the 173rd Air Gaming community. The 71st Fleet Operations division is the navy branch of gamers that focus on Star Trek Online ("STO"), nicknamed the "Avenging Angels". Similar to the blue color scheme of its sister divisions - the 82nd Recon & 4th Armored "Hammerheads" - for consistency within the overall 173rd Air brand. The logo itself was created from a very limited pool of existing graphics in-game and only a few layers and shapes to work with; building the logo before importing it into Illustrator for tracing. It proved as a different sort of challenge than I was used to and enjoyed the creative process. More on this project/branding in the link.
