Description: Logo for the 82nd Recon division of the 173rd Air Gaming community. The task was to give new vitality to this team by appearing menacing and intimidating to rival players. Elements from their old, outdated insignia were combined with familiar pieces from the game the division participates in. Inspiration for the new look was drawn not only from the obvious 'Planetside 2', but other titles such as 'Blacklight: Retribution' and 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon' series. The fresh look for the 82nd defines a history of service and acts as a warning to their opposition. More on this branding/logo in the link.
