Updated. A smart individual here recommended I remove the %22cuts%22 I had in the type before (to mimic the mark) as it may have made the type too competitive to the mark. I think I agree. Any thoughts? If you can remember the old one that is. Thanks.

and i wanted to ask, the fence in the mark has a different color than the background. this is the way you are using it? why not just negative space?

Hey, thanks Stelian. Holy crap, I never noticed that! :) I was experimenting with colors at the time I posted this concept and looks like I had a fill in there just slightly darker than the background. I hadn't knocked the fence shape out of the square yet either, so I could tweak the shape if needed. So the fence was still a shape at that time. Yikes, amazing someone else didn't say something. I guess I couldn't even see it on my monitor. It's fixed now, thanks!
