No, I mean the highlights and some cuts in the clouds are not the same as the background. Is that intentional? no biggie hardly noticeable. just looking at your fine work.
one of my favorites on here. can't believe it wasn't picked. i saw a rocket first, then the veggie. the red kept me thinking beet and not carrot.i think it's fine the way it is.
Thanks all!**Paul, thanks mate. Good to see you around again. Agricultural clients tend to be quite particular about the exact proportions of their end product - so they tend to shy away from showing the actual vegetable, cereal etc.
Thanks wannabe. Agricultural clients are quite particular about the exact proportions of their crop - so they didn't want to show the actual vegetable in the logo
Yeah, this was one of the first logos I saw here the first time I visiited logopond. I remember being amazed by it then and I am again seeing it now. This is fantastic - one sweet sugar beet.
thought this looked familiar, i cant comment on the poster itsef since they blocked comments but this one is the original for sure, the one recently added seems like a blantant copy
Thanks, client went for the planet Mars in the end because a cartoon representation of the vegetable was deemed inappropriate.
On that note, designers shouldn't listen to people who say you can't show unused or 'practice' work in your portfolios as it can still attract potential clients.
true, i still think designers should do more research when creating logos for their clients. The objective of a logo or design in brand identity is to differentiate, i guess because it went unused he/she though it was ok.
Roy, I was coming in here to make the same observation as Mario about that carrot/rocket logo recently added to the Gallery. Buuuut... guess you already dealt with that, soooo...
(still love this one, although I gather it's supposed to be more of a beet than a carrot)

ReplyThanks, I don't have an issue with this one. There's plenty of veg rockets in the universe now!
Replylol , you're right but i can't believe that this logo is still unused :(
ReplyThanks, client went for the planet Mars in the end because a cartoon representation of the vegetable was deemed inappropriate.
