Unused proposal for The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), a law ensuring services to children with disabilities throughout the nation. IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention, special education, and related services to more than 6.5 million eligible infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. In this mark, the raised hand — symbolic of a student raising his/her hand in class — is formed in the negative space within the “A,” which puts the focus on this letter. This was done intentionally, because all the “buzz words” — access, accountability, achievement — all start with the letter A. The letter A also represents achievement (getting good grades). Custom type adds a dynamic, empowering feel.
