Yes, absolutely -- that text gives me a headache to see, it's so small...no offense. And, um, why is the text italicized? Personally, I'd go with a sans-serif font, larger, still centered under the mark. Logomark is lovely, tho. Like that a lot.

Nice! I really like it - the only thing I suggest is maybe trying a font that is not italicized. But the icon is bang on.
