%5E software - Adobe Illustrator (well thats my weapon of choice). Bu the most important part of logo design imho is a pencil and paper.

%5E%5E agree, best SW is pencil and paper ... for vectorizing ideas I am using Corel Draw. I have never adapted to AI.
