ReplyThanks a bunch to Oguzhan, Craig, Sergey, Jason, Matt, Java, Sean! Appreciate the very nice comments fellas :)*@Java, the definition of maven is an expert in a particular field, or a highly skilled person. The font relates with unique curvature and sharp edges, and in the end Maven is just a bad ass name :P Thanks a lot!
ReplyAnd of course, many thanks for the gallery add :)
ReplyJoe - wonderful work. I'm proud of you
ReplyAmazing job mate ...

ReplyFontPond!

ReplyWhat's so happy everyone like kids? Nothing new in this font... What? Is it free? Wow i amazed
Replyhmm, i honestly think it can stand as a logo too.
ReplyIt does represent a Product. What better way would one use to market it? Just saying I do the same with my named fonts, Sassoon font for one here.
Reply@nido, don't know what happened to your comment...in regards to it, I'm not trying to pass this off as a logo - just posting it here so people see it and can download it. That's all really. Not a logo, just a typeface :) Feel free to re-post your comment. Thanks!
Reply@Cris, Shylesh, Pierro, Gareth, Alena, designer...thank you all. I appreciate you taking the time to comment! :) Cheers everyone!
ReplyWoops, didn't see your comment Mike. I agree with you. I'm not passing the 'Maven Pro' text off as a logo in any means, just displaying it. Hope that clears it up nido.

ReplyLove this font, thank you! Any idea why on my Windows XP machine all of the descenders are cut off? This happens in all applications. The font works fine on my Mac.
ReplyGreat! Well done Joe.
ReplyJust perfect, best font ever!! Well done, Joe!
ReplyHi Joe. Nicely designed font. I liked it enough to buy a commercial license for a rebrand I'm doing. I have to point out to yourself, or anyone using it that whenever I use the "e", it's necessary to use one that I've corrected. If one looks at the outlines in Illustrator it's evident an unsightly bump on the inside bottom curve was overlooked (just before it meets the horizontal). I spotted this in the samples online before my purchase, so I wasn't overly upset. I know you've either caught this (and it drives you nuts), or you'd want to know so you don't repeat the mistake in your future releases.
