As seen on:
looks very nice Joe!
Thanks Ivan and snd!
Did you map that on to sphere in Illustrator?
%5EYep. Created an array and 3d-mapped on a half-sphere.
UPDATED with type.
and ready for the gallery :)
Thanks JB! :)
Thanks Tony. I have the type smaller because I'm giving the mark a majestic feeling of being universe-like. Played around with a vertical orientation and decided on this one. I think you're right though, might switch back to vertical. Cheers!
Thanks a lot Thierry :)
joe, fantastic mark mate, type is nice as-well but a little loose for my palette, but the mark is pure craft.
Thank you kind sir, I appreciate the comment!
Does seem a lil like two separate elements...
Interesting Mike, I'll take a look at it. Thanks.
This mark is BEAST. And I mean that in an incredibly good, %22I love it%22 sort of way. Nice one Joe.
Haha thanks a lot Alexander! That's funny :)
UPDATES to color and position.
Looks awesome Jp!
Thanks a lot Alex!
This is great Joe!
Cheers Pierro! I'm happy with the updates that were made :)
Very cool, Joe. Nice sphere work!
Thanks a lot Foster!
@kaimere, I updated so the elements now flow better together. Cheers!
this is really eye-pleasing and intriguing, joe. just wondering, why would go with the shadow? to me the object seems to be made out of multiple parts which won't cast this kind of shadow. was it for depth purpose? anyway, great work!
Hey thanks a lot for the comment Stelian. I see what you're saying about the object not being solid which contradicts the shadow. I'll take a look at removing it. Cheers!
the shadow works imo... if the object was not solid wouldn't the greens be visible on the other side?
%5E never thought about that.**but what if the greens were white on the inner-side? :D
Good stuff JP :)
Thanks for the comment MS! Cheers.
Nice colour, matching the shape well. Shadow's like a cherry on (under in this case %3B)) top :)
Thanks a lot quadrika!
