Cheers everyone. Their previous logo had no connection to castles or to printing for that matter. This was my first layout - hope they go for it.*Oh, thanks for the gallery spot also :)
I love this icon - very nice. I'm working on a design with the %22overlapping ink%22 element... Does anyone have any resources on how to make the file print-ready? Do I need to pick Pantone colors for each shown, including the overlapped color?
@ roblan, You probably could do a 3 color overprint Pantone but with these colors I would highly recommend full color. You can overprint but an accurate way to do it, is use the color picker and set each specific color (area) accordingly. I have may ways of doing things, I'm sure others here have indifferent or perhaps better ways.
Thanks for the tip, logomotive. I'll upload the logo to my gallery -- if you could take a look, that'd be great! (sorry to post this in your thread fogra -- great work!)
I agree with you logomotive. The best way to control something like this on press would be to punch out each area as it's own shape and color pick the exact builds.
no , but i can use it for my design page , *i mean it represents what i do - i use lots of colors and also i wanted to include something royal in my logo*the castle shield is really cool and i like it, so , is it for sale ?*please mail me at alex.robete at gmail.com
clashmore, *to be honest i find it EXTREMELY hard to design something for myself, i am very very critic wen it comes to design something for myself.... *i always design a logo , i like it , but after 2-3 hours ,i find some major flaw or whatever ....*by the way , you have a great logo gallery and i really like your work
Hi Fogra, I don't know how I stumbled here but being the owner of Castle Print %26 Design in the UK I just wanted to leave you a note to say, a great-looking logo, and wished I'd known of you when we put our logo together. The 'castellation' is quite clever and I'll know where to come should we ever go for a revamp. Best regards, Paul.
dear fogra%0D*i am interested by this superb logo for a holding company (the name would be different)%0D*if you are ok to work on it you can reach me at [email protected]%0D*warm rgds%0D*
