By the end of year 2000, he met Daniel Ornelis, owner of Massiva company in Los Angeles, California, US, and start working as freelance web designer and Flash animator. With Massiva he got great experience and learned a lot during the work on specific projects. After some time, he figured that freelance job wasn't challenging enough, so he gathered few references while working with Massiva and applied for job at Belgrade newspaper company Glas Javnosti. On the same day, he got job as web administrator. He had great experience working in huge company with a lot of employees.
In March 2003, he had to quit all jobs and serve in the army as every Serbian citizen duty. Army took him for 8 months away from web design industry, so when he got back he was down-graded a bit. He wanted to work, so without asking he took offered job opportunity and started working as a OEM servicer and sales man. There he upgraded his skill in IT and also had time to catch up with web design industry.
By friend's recommendation, at the very beginning of 2004 he was contracted by Platinum Digital Media and funeralOne companies based out in St. Clair, Michigan, US. Both companies are design and web design based companies, so time ahead of him was perfect for exploring American clients, improving knowledge in every aspect of web design and development.
He had good time working but another offer came by in April 2005. He was invited to Canada by TLH Heliskiing company to improve the corporate image and Internet appearance of them and their three sister companies. Without much to think about, he accepted this journey, and went to Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. Right after successfully finished job, he came back to Belgrade leaving happy clients and coming with great experience and enlarged portfolio.
Not much after his return from Canada, he received an invitation to join Cactimedia, a company based out in Dubai, UEA, with offices in Belgrade and Hyderabad, India. There, he started as a web designer, but advanced pretty fast to a position of a Lead designer/Project manager. He managed three employees and delivered award winning web sites. Not seeing future in how this company is working, it's organization and relation with their employees, by February 2005, he accepted a job as a Creative Director at Belgrade based company Maccom Media. Managing five employees, he put great effort to establish a good name and a solid portfolio for this company, but after a year, it was revealed that company primary investor had other plans for it. He got disappointed and decided to move on.
Disappointed, but determined not to stop his personal and professional advancement, he decided to move on. Always a positive thinker, he sees this situation as another valuable experience and a good source of material to thicken his portfolio.
