The mark is megacute but I would reconsider the typography a bit... The styles of the two doesn't lockup IMO...

%5EI'm with Alen %3E Type matches the field...but the mark offset it. Love the mark! :)

Art Machine Apr. 14 '10

%5EAgreed. Sweet mark. Try exploring other type options.

Ebrown Apr. 14 '10

%5E what they said. Nice work.

very very nice mark!

milash Apr. 14 '10

ok guys. soon to be fixed.

Reply
milash Apr. 14 '10

thanks everybody. hopefully it's better now

Reply
Art Machine Apr. 14 '10

Hm, not sure, I thought the placement and size was alright. Now the hands look scarily big.

Reply
Lecart Apr. 14 '10

Hm, yeah, Art Machine has a valid point, now that he mentioned it..

Reply
Lecart Apr. 14 '10

this is the winner for me

Reply
Ocularink Apr. 14 '10

This is the best of the bunch so far.

Reply
Art Machine Apr. 14 '10

Definitely better. The symbol could be scaled down just a little bit more.

ethereal Apr. 14 '10

Nice mark. Hmm, interesting, I didn't find the original type that bad. Sometimes clean lines do work with serif fonts, especially when you are going for friendly and innocent. Not a fan of this type, myself, but clearly I must be in the minority. You might tighten up the leading just a hair, it would then feel more centered on the hand. Sorry, there's my big fat %2410.26.

great mark, love it

Art Machine Apr. 15 '10

Very nice. Looks balanced. But I'd change that thumb of the red hand to what it was before. Now it looks a little unnatural.

Reply
JoePrince Apr. 15 '10

I like it, but the inner part could be bigger. There's too much space between the type and mark as is. Nice work Milash!

milash Apr. 16 '10

thanks for your involvement.

Your work's amazing, Milash! :)

Reply
Petro Apr. 29 '10

Very interesting hand-in-hand style! I like it.

Reply
logoboom Apr. 29 '10

Very nice. And great comments/tweaks. Hands feel just a tiny tad low in the circle?

Reply
mabu Apr. 30 '10

Good stuff. I have to agree with logoboom though. It might just be an optical issue, but the hand seems closer to the bottom than the top.

Reply
milash Apr. 30 '10

Thanks everybody. this one took some time to get it right. logoboom and mabu, i have to agree with you. it's a bit low, but how necessary it really is to have it perfectly balanced. in this case i think i can get away with it, plus the white space above sort of suggests that there is a little person there.

Reminds me of Catch 5's logo. Nevertheless, nice one :)

milash May. 03 '10

thanks everybody. check out my new site and vote for me on creative.ge

Reply
lucaz May. 06 '10

wauw, creative, clear. From the logo it's clear what it's about without reading the txt.

milash Jun. 15 '10

Could anyone tell me, why are points deduced from the logos sometimes?

Reply
birofunk Jun. 15 '10

aahh, I just posted in the forum about that..thanks for clearing that up Alen. **Great logo milash, here's a float %3B)

Reply
milash Jun. 15 '10

Thanks you type08, thanks birofunk. But how come some logos have minus points?

Reply
milash Jun. 15 '10

Now it all makes sense. thank buddy.

Reply
milash Jul. 18 '10

well, they did make some changes. they rotated the logo 45 degrees.

Reply
milash Jul. 18 '10

they could at least do that

Reply
hyperborea Jul. 18 '10

Wow! It's complete ripoff!*Can you do something about it?*I meen what should designer do in this situation?*Anyone can help answering the question?*I feel your anger milash...*

Reply
Siledhel Jul. 18 '10

I did the only thing I could think of, and notified the local newspaper about it (local as, the one of the city the logo is being used for) - What they are trying to do with their campaign is very noble. The profits are destined to help those who lost their belongings because of Hurricane %22Alex%22 - But that doesn't give them the right!*They could at least have asked for your permission.*By the way, the paper published something on the matter today

milash Jul. 19 '10

thanks siledhel. i can not think of anything that I can do about it from here. i comfort myself by thinking that it was used for the good cause

Reply
rudy hurtado Jul. 19 '10

Milash, it doesn't justify the use of any work without your consent or any kind of payment, that was a cheap move on their part in my opinion, sorry to here that. I would send a nasty email if I were you.

Reply
hyperborea Jul. 19 '10

%5E agree. thats less you can do.

Reply
milash Jul. 21 '10
