Fantastic! You are really great at these characters! Could you give a little insight into the process? Do you have rough reference material of peoples faces or do you sketch from scratch?

Thanks everyone. Regarding the process, I usually start with pencil sketches to get the basic idea and layout, then I search for reference and tighten the sketch in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet. For this style, I reference illustrations from the 40s and 50s for the pose and lighting, as this type of illustration is too complex for me to create from my imagination. That said, I do change my version quite a bit and reference multiple images in order to make it %22mine.%22
