I like the overall style, but there are a couple things that I would consider. **1. There is a lot going on with the type weights and alignments. I would try to give them a little more balance.*2. The flag seems odd in there. It was the first thing my eye went to because it is so tiny and thin compared to the bold nature of the rest of the mark. It made me think of golf.**At first I was confused by the 'palace' reference and thought I should be seeing a palace-type structure, when i couldn't help but see a shield. But then I remembered my time in Italy (Florence in particular), and seeing the Medici shields adorning the sides of the different palaces and buildings throughout the city. That made me ok with it.
