Description:
This started out with what I thought a very clever logo of the roads of the country as white pine branches with pine cones representing the towns, but it was deemed too clever before I could fine tune it. Instead they combined two of my ideas. I took the four main elements - bristle cone pine tree & elk representing tourism, tractor for the farming industry, ore truck for the mining industry, and a steam powered train representing history from the main logo, and made each one the main focus of four alternate logos. The Chamber won't always be advertising all groups together so this gives them flexibility as well as giving them options where detail could be lost.

I'd like to see the other versions!
ReplyI'm sorry Nash. I totally missed your float and comment. I'll see if I can dig up that other idea.
ReplyArtist, just saw these. I don't know the end result of this project, but I enjoy this design very much, especially your choice of colors. The only feedback I can give is that the cut corner on the bottom left makes me think of Nevada.
ReplyThanks Nash. The one with "everything" in it is the end result. The county is in Nevada and proud of the fact their county border resembles the state they are a part of. :)
ReplyThe county border totally does start to take shape of Nevada!!! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d5/Map_of_Nevada_highlighting_White_Pine_County.svg/405px-Map_of_Nevada_highlighting_White_Pine_County.svg.png
ReplyThank you Flit, Genaddy and Anastasia for the floats!
