The South Coast is the gulf of Mexico. Here the blue part of the ball is the Texas coast line along the golf. The star is Houston, TX. The addition of a red stripe and we have the Texas flag on a beach ball.

Just to show there was some thought to this, the blue crescent part of the ball matches the Texas gulf coast curve and the star is situated along the shore line where the client is located. The ball with the flag on it came along later. Anyway, there ya go.
