Description: Texas is known for its oil production and there is no shortage of companies in the oil industry. State Line specializes in leasing oil equipment. The logo that was created to be bold and unique to the industry. All too often an oil company settles on a simple oil derrick that is shooting out oil. Its over done and lacks originality. The idea behind this logo was to show strength and power by using a custom, bold typeface for the icon and transforming the "L" into an oil derrick. The typeface for the name of the company was selected because it sustains the same message as the icon.
