Thanks Contrast8 and Alexander. As far as my brief the client did not want anything cliche or directly limiting the Gaming industry (Gambling). So my approach here is directed more at the looking into the gaming Industry.
Sounds interesting, i look forward to see where this one goes... Btw. not saying it is close at all, but couldn't help noticing this little fella which sits at the buttom of my computer. http://api.ning.com/files/MtHIx2OSJ8qE4dxsycGE*VdLvUGWXKFCwfH-enk3Wdw_/ROGlogo160x133JH.jpg
love the type, mark is great as well, feels like he is doing a roger moore with his eyebrow. But to be honest I love the lowercase a, fabulous design on that character.
Navman thanks %3B%5D Still waiting for feedback..*Lecart Thanks.*Paul, I can see that and thanks.*Thanks Julian, I layed it out this way because of the Uppercase G. The top of eyelid is aligned with top of lowercase letters and bottom of pupil sits baseline. I felt it help balance out and accent the Uppercase G. If I go smaller uppercase G I might try other layouts.
Yeah, I saw that and it makes sense. Nonetheless I can't quite seperate symbol and type so I keep reading%22 GeyeGaming%22. Maybe a little more space between symbol and type (i.e. of the size of the pupil) would do the trick.
Art, or color :) I don't think it's That strong as G but guess since I designed it knowing, nice to hear how others read it.**Anthony The Name is eyeGaming. Only thing I can do is a lowercase G in which I did in another version.**My opinion is it's ok as is but since Art brought it up I'm all ears and eyes.*
what about lining up the pupil with the counter of the a, make the pupil the same proportions as the negative space in the counter. Maybe put a tad more space between mark and logotype... or as art said the diameter again of the counter between mark and type. hope this makes sense... good luck.
Hey Mike, no need for the visual grid, your work is always crystal in concept and execution, adding the temporary color makes a massive difference so what ever your final choice is will certainly reinforce it. Tis a good job mike well done.

ReplyVery nice, Mike. Not too sure about the layout though. Symbol and type blend too much IMO, curious how others feel about the layout...
