Description:
This is a personal branding project as well as an SEO strategy.
Selvin is my first name and I plan to use it as a credit tag (e.g. logo by selvin, website by selvin, etc.)
My current business/domain name (Kodespark) has a corporate feel according to a poll I conducted a few days ago!
So, in order to provide a more personal touch I decided to vectorize my signature and create sort of a credit tag to put in use.
The goal is to identify each service provided and project completed with a differenct color and my signature to hopefully
convey a more personal feel.
If you guys have some ideas, I'd like to hear them!

I know that there are legibility issues but just keep in mind that this isn't necessarily the name spelled out but my signature!

ReplyIt doesn't feel like a cohesive logo to me - there's nothing grounding the elements together. It's like there's essentially two separate logos on the page. Hope this helps.
Replyis it missing an L? This would be hard to incorporate on a website as far as placement.. I just think it would be more memorable without the Logo by.. just my opinion..
Reply**sdijock**You make a good point, and in a way, you can think of the composition as two separate entities, the name would be the brand and the %22Logo by%22 would be the flavor. I plan to use the name *(Selvin)* as the main identity and the services as sub-identities for example: for web development I will use *Website By*, for branding I will use *Brand By*, etc.***logotivity**It does appear to be missing the %22L%22 and %22V%22 and I could have easily modified it but I wanted it to stay as close to my original signature as possible. As far as placement, I think the layout can create some challenges but it could probably make for some interesting output! The main identity will be used by itself, the tag is added just to identify the service for branding purposes!**Thanks a lot for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it!
ReplyI like most of the idea. My only pet peeve is the location of the *BY* text. I might play around with the positioning of the green bar a bit. Overall I think it's a nice design, though! Love the signature. It does read a little like Sevin but if that's your signature I wouldn't change it.
