Description: Rebrand for Incadescent Warthog - A web design consultancy originally based in Geelong, Australia (my hometown) now based in Port Villa, Vanuatu. Here's the finalised design with type. Although this may seem a little 'extreme' of a logo for a web design consultancy, I want to show some ties to their previous logo (see 'Original Logo' link).

THERE it is! Love the finished piece, Josh! Your line work and shading/highlights here are phenomenal. As you know, I've been following the progress of this one on Dribbble; good to see it come to such a positive resolution. And I LOVE that spunky T crossbar in the word 'Incandescent.' It's like it's saying, "Yeah, that's RIGHT, beeyotch! I'm both incandescent AND a warthog! What now?!"

"First attempt at a logo on that scale."

Wait, Josh, you've done several animal/character illustrations, especially lately. Am I missing something? At any rate, feels good to push yourself hard and end up with something you're super happy with, doesn't it?

Although most of the character illy stuff was uploaded to dribble prior to the work for this, the warthog was developed con-currently with them (warthog contract was first cronologically) :)

Yup, having to work harder on something is always a plus!!!!

^Ahhhh, gotcha. Well, FWIW, my Dozen Flours character was the first time ever doing something like that for a client, too. Here's to exploring new territory, and kicking ass while doing it *raises beer bottle, realizes it's 10:30 a.m., chugs beer anyway*
