Wow, the sound waves part is very clever!
Not to sound like a broken record, but is the cardboard part vector, or added in photoshop after the fact. Thank you in advance Phil.

Thanks Alex. Don't worry about sounding like a broken record - it never hurts to ask a question :) The texture on the blade is a raster image converted to vector using Image Trace (previously Live Trace) in Illustrator.
