Description:
Conceptual logo design for a fictional percussion school, specialized in the teaching of the triangle. The motto is "Service. Collaboration. Honor.". Service: helping to understand how the percussion instruments complement the composition of classical music; Collaboration: teaching why every instrument is complex in it's own way, and needs passion and precision to be well played; Honor: gratifying the graduated students with wisdom and knowledge. All the elements are connected, representing how all instrument should sound: in unison [...].

I think tying the SCH-ool together with the slogan is too distracting. I would also use a slightly darker blue and avoid light blue on a light grey background.
ReplyLCA Creative: thank you for your input. What the SCH is really doing is being part of the g in %22triangle%22, forming the missing part, and thus making a connection%3B that's part of the concept, and could work without the slogan. If your suggestion of using a darker blue is because of its resonance, don't worry, that it was chosen exactly for that, plus in a white background it looks more quieter, heh.
Replyyea, the top half is working, but the bottom half looks off because of the highlighted SCH in the slogan. I would also like to see what the whole thing would look like on a black background.
ReplyI updated it without the slogan. In black, it just looks less... unorthodox. And I'm not too keen on it, because gray is a basic color in the identity. Anyways, thanks for the ideas.

Lo se gundo es el fondo no te ayuda, el contraste del gris y tu pantone hace un poco de %ABruido%BB visual. Y la Jerarquia entre la tipograf%EDa y el icon debes de ajustarla un poco. Ahh, no se si necesites cambiar de color la %ABi%BB. Un abrazo!

Ya varios han comentado lo del fondo, pero lo hice precisamente para que tenga %ABruido%BB, o mejor dicho, %ABresonancia%BB, por el mismo instrumento, pero bueno, con tanta insistencia tal vez lo cambie. Lo de la jerarqu%EDa no lo hab%EDa tomado en cuenta, porque en tama%F1os peque%F1os la tipograf%EDa se desempe%F1a muy bien, y %E9ste ser%EDa un atentado de la Escuela de Percusi%F3n de tomar el %EDcono en absoluto, si entiendes lo que digo. Lo de la %ABi%BB sirve para conectar el tri%E1ngulo con la palabra (porque en realidad el tri%E1ngulo empieza con el punto de la %ABi%BB), que es parte del concepto%3B y hace poco prob%E9 dej%E1ndola del mismo color, y nah. %A1Un saludo, y gracias por pasar por aqu%ED!
