What you are calling monotonous is actually a 'signature' people became very famous for their signature style, I would absolutely love for someone to view a piece from me and say, 'i know who designed that' based solely off the look only.

Also I would imagine that the clients are specifically asking for him to do that, I would bet money he gets emails like this:

' we loved your work on this brand, can you do something similar for us' etc.

I'm not on one side or the other, merely playing devil's advocate here, but I think there's a difference between style and concept. Obviously if ru is getting work requests for this type of work, he should keep it up, but what he's doing here is more than a signature style -- it's a very similar concept in each piece.

Monotonous? Not for me. I'm totally ok with the trend itself, it's pop. The thing is how you work in this style.
