Description:
Shchelykovo is an estate which belonged to Alexander Ostrovsky, a famous Russian 19th century playwright. I was asked to make a logo for this place, now a museum. Their current logo, a monument to Ostrovsky, is a very poor quality and my goal was to rethink it, so to speak.

ReplyBeautiful simplification and use of black/shadow.
ReplyOne tiny thing you might want to consider is kicking that middle button to the left a bit to follow the coat contour more. Those buttons are a real focus for me since they're right in the middle in a sea of black.
