I keep reading 'Entom', only until I saw the name of the logo could I work out the negative space... Clever idea, just needs better execution I think! :)

Have you tried making the 'ntom' the same size and case as the 'a'? could work?

I can read that better, but because the rest of the type is in UPPER CASE, I think that it is also disturbing the readability... Because it draws attention to the capital 'F'. Keep on chuggin and you'll have a winner! :)

cool concept and execution. I'd now play with the kerning on the rest of the type, because when i see the 'a', my eye drifts over the the two empty spaces underneath the 'T'. That's going to be hard to fix, but i think is definitely necessary

definitely left for me. it sets the 'a' on a different level than the rest of the letters. still a very tough kerning job. try looking at it upside down when you're kerning

I like %22a%22 in one line (right), it's more legible for me. The letter looks small in the left, don't you think so?

Right one for me... the 'a' is still uniform on this one.
