simplify the skyline. make the black the wine color with no outline. black should be gray or a gray outline.
ReplySo, just a thought: make the glass transparent (outline in black, no color inbetween the lines), but where it's got black for wine color now, make it red like the shade you have now, but keep the buildings black. How? Draw a line fron the bottom of the far right building across to the bottom of the far left building. Make that line slightly wavy, to connote movement of liquid and at the same time a gentle sloping of landscape under the buildings. Then, make everything below that line that's currently black the red wine color. Your city will look as though it's floating in wine.
