agreed with above, wonder how a few more lines might look or even if it looked a little more like a toothbrush (e.g. rounded handle) ... also along the lines of type08 you could also try and make 'my' bolder than the rest... very nice concept
I think bars not need be going up uniformly. High-low-high-low-high could work as well, because it will resemble the shape of the bristles on a toothbrush far better. Perhaps style bars as columns of horizontal lines (like those on audio amplifier displays).

Replyagree with epsilon, too uniform on the height changes, a little variation might look nice...i like it better already though :)
