Replyvery well done. I'm always curious with these elaborate etching looking logos did you find the original drawing somewhere and rework the mark or did you actually produce that tree yourself?
ReplyThanks Ehsaan! For this logo I researched a few different oak tree photos and drawings to determine the best approach. Did a few rounds of rough hand renderings, took those into Illustrator and refined it from there. The leaves are actually the simplest but most time consuming part. They are all the same leaf illo just resized, rotated, and mirrored. I sent a good deal of time arranging them to get the right finished look.

ReplyThanks Colin! It did indeed. But a happy client and a gallerization make me think it just might have been worth it. %3B)
