Just got an email from one of the organizers with an apology and a promise to remove... I'll check back on the followthrough, but the response seems appropriate...
^^^^Mark's been pulled. Dramatic, short, and sweet.
The perspective is a little off with the horizontal part of the 'f'/match in comparison to the vertical. Other than that this is great.
@theartist - Yeah, I'm aware of that. I had a few versions to begin with (including one with true perspective) However, I'd say I decided on this '2D/3D hybrid' if you will, in order to bump the read on the 'F' rendering it more purely typographic, if that makes sense..?
In graphic terms, I think what this version does is force you to think about the match less as an object in physical space...and rather more as a unique typographic mark...
In any case, thanks a lot for the comment! Perspective aside...I'm very pleased you liked it ;)
Makes all the difference that you know what I was referencing and that it was deliberate. Concept is great.
@theartistt - Cheers! Thanks again! :)
