Nicely illustrated. Although, the ship looks off-center from the type to me. Looks like it should shift to the right slightly.**Fav'd and floated.

Nice simplification of a detailed subject matter. And the Columubs flag works.

classy mark like that would look cool on a number of things. I could see it as a high end fashion label.

Can someone tell me I'm crazy, because to me this and the pirate bay logo look almost exactly alike. I mean, down to the little crow's nest or whatever that is on the left side. Is it common for boats to be illustrated this way?

Beautiful mark. Very classic.

I agree the angle is very similar but it's not identical. This kind of imagery has been used for hundreds of years and Pirate Bay were certainly not the first to adopt it as their logo.

Hmm, it is very strange how similar the marks are though. If this one is flipped horizontally, it is almost identical in form. Makes me wonder...

The Pirate Bay logo does use an old ship as its logo as well, but still... are they the only ones allowed to have a ship as their mark? **This logo is wonderfully executed, very elegant, and in a completely different industry than Pirate Bay. While PB uses a ship, it does not convey the same mood as the logo here.**Both ships, but different feels.

Similar to TPB or not, I think this might be my favorite logo in the whole pond.

Mark is very nice. Has a Pirate Bay look to it. *The serif typeface is very pretty, what is it? Not sure about the wide kerning and leading though.

Isn't that the ship from Pirate Bay?

Loving the the lit backdrop. The the hundreds of thousands of logos with a ship illustration at this angle, and we're comparing that horrible Pirate Bay logo to your infinitely superior work...Ugh. When put beside this, that logo bears no real resemblance whatsoever (flip it anyway you like).
