Description:
Teeth by Dr. Semov is a corporate identity project we had the pleasure to work on.
The client is a young dentist who was just establishing his dental practice. He wanted us to think outside the box and avoid any similarities to all the common logos in the field, such as happy teeth cartoons and dull colors.
We had in mind that during dental procedures, all a patient can see is their dentist’s face. Many people feel anxious, even scared to go to their appointments. Well, not with this doctor. He had this fresh and youthful quality that gave us the idea of turning his friendly face into his trademark.

Lets Discuss
It's really nicely done, but not sure how I feel about the dentists smiling face on the logo. Maybe it's just me, but seems slightly sinister/creepy and not so reassuring. Dare I say it but a little Patrick Bateman.
