I feel that this is way too much of a stretch to have those two elements represent 3 letters. It's a valiant effort, but IMO it's not working.
ReplyI agree with sdijock. It looks like a good banner or something you'd you in the header of a webpage but not necessarily a logo that would be reprinted on various mediums like cards, shirts etc. Looks very cool though, more of an illustration than a logo...
ReplyI agree with both above comments. But to give you a positive, the use of the striped tie as the s works brilliantly!
Reply@WRock - Are we looking at the same logo? Hate to crush your positive comment, but there is no %22s%22 in this logo.
Reply@sdijock I think he thought i said %22Exclusive Lunchbox%22 --- that being how I read it at first glance, myself.
Replyyeah. i would have to agree as well. kinda pushing it. and it's pretty hard to read. though the logo makes sense, i would probably try to take a few elements out of it.
ReplyThanks for all your feedback guys. I see what you mean about pushing it to cover 3 characters. I did another version that kept Executive written as it should be with the illustrations just acting as the H. Maybe that would be a better way to go - easier to read and less busy. @WRock - if only that was my intention! I'll see if they can change the company name!
Reply@senanimach9 - just wondering what you think makes it not look like a logo? is it the gradients, shadows, etc? i've designed it for web first as i'm doing the website design at the same time. Any tips / advice grateful for future works ...
