FANTASTICO, FAVED!! takes me back to the 70's yeah baby, GROOVY.
ReplyThanks again Mike!
ReplyWelcome Jen, I can see this made into a sticker also. Would love to see it in those physcodelic (sp?) colors of the 70's. This logo is so great because it captures the ERA and style while the letters have a %22bite%22 to it conveying the CUDA. The older crowd will appreciate this logo.
ReplyGROOVY indeed!*Yeah, I remember the Barracuda (in picture books). Looks like a Dodge Charger? You just don't make 'em like you used to.
Replyahhhhhhh... I'd kill for a Plumb Crazy 'cuda convertible. Love it.
Reply@Mike- Yes, I agree, adding some color could be nice, maybe a cuda purple or orange would work also...., certainly something to consider. I'm glad my attempt*at capturing the style worked out! Your comments much appreciated Mike!**@firebrand- thanks for your comment! Not quite like a Charger but I would say similar, although my husband would tell you differently. /Users/jenniferheisch/Desktop/cudapict.pct**@gthobbs- Thanks! Yes, the convertibles are hard to come by!
Reply@ firebrand: Very different vehicle from the Charger. However it was sibling to the Dodge Challenger (which has just made it's come back). 'Cude was simply the Plymouth version.
ReplyAnd before Jenlogo's husband corrects me...I know...I know...the Cuda was around as it's own creation long before the Challenger (love those mid/late 60s fastbacks). But once the 1970 Challenger was introduced the Cuda was based on that platform. (I was a Mopar head as a kid). I'll shut up now.
ReplyGlen, are you and my hubby related? lol! Thanks for clearing that up in %22Mopar lingo%22*as my Cuda picture I tried to attach didn't seem to work (not sure how to do that)*Cheers fellow Moparfester! **
ReplyYou totally hit the nail baby! Soo delicious
ReplyThanks agge!
ReplyThanks for the kind words and the float nima!
ReplyComin' back to admire this one again. Cool car too!
ReplyMakes me want to finish the hunk of junk in my garage for sure. I want a T-Shirt!!!!
ReplyVery nice job on the logo - great retro feel.**There was an episode of %22RIDES%22 where Chip Foose took an old beat up Barracuda from the actor Joe Rogan and completely refurbished it - ever since then I've wanted one. Although, I'd also wouldn't mind getting my hands on either the new Challenger or the new Camaro that's coming out soon.
ReplyThanks very much Sean, Bart and Steve!- Yup, saw that episode too...love,love..love that show :)
Replysdijock... It was RIDES you are correct on that. However it was NOT Chip Foose or Foose Design. It was actually Troy Trepanier of %22http://www.radrides.com%22: Rad Rides by Troy.**The new Camaro is going to be the blowout car of 2010. I am on a waiting list. :)
ReplyMy bad - could have sworn it was Foose that re-did the Cuda - sweet ride nonetheless. I always dreamed that if I won the lottery I'd buy a bunch of old muscle cars and dump them off for Foose to fix up for me.**I'm jealous Bart. Swing by Jersey and take me for a cruise when you get it.
Reply'I've just been Overhauled'. :D
ReplyI want to marry Chip Foose... oh, wait, already married. My ultimate car is a Mustang Boss. I can only dream! Nice logo Jen.
