Description: A logo for a husband-and-wife team of acupuncturists that offer holistic and natural treatments consisting of acupuncture and oriental medicine. The symbol consists of 5 lotus petals and a stylized man at the bottom that form a lotus flower. I found it meaningful and appropriate to use a lotus flower as a symbol. Lotus is rising and blooming above the muddy waters. I used it as a comparison to the fact that the clinic helps people achieve health and wellness. The stylized man with lifted arms implies happiness. Five petals also represent the Five Elements - water, wood, fire, earth and metal.
