Sorry you feel the way you do. I think you are assuming a lot here. I have never seen your design until today. I had done this at the end of last year. Good job on your concept.

Why so quick to accuse him of thievery? Surely the idea of a monogram constructed with hexagons has been done before at some point. And especially in dealing with a honey-producing company, I would imagine it's not a solution that's too terribly difficult to come by.

I have to agree with samdemastrie it's not to difficult to arrive at this solution honey comb as type for a honey company is pretty standard. Also it's not very fun for someone to have their design destroyed by shouting you've copied my design.

Just from a quick search on google found this logo which is the same as yours maumer http://www.brandcrowd.com/logo-design/details/53207 . Did they copy?

@samdemastrie: I did not accuse him for thievery! I just point out the inspiration source, since the similarity is high (even the colors) and I think it's a bit over-inspired work - can I have a right on my opinion/views? '...it's not a solution that's too terribly difficult to come by' - especially if you have resource like LP.

@noodlesoup: Fun or not, some things needs to be said. This is a design forum and constructive critics are very welcome IMHO... We all have so much to learn...

True true just felt a bit harsh to be constructive but anyhow that other one I pointed out looks like a direct copy if yours, so I'd get onto them.
