Description:
Love Out Loud is a foundation that helps provide support to families going through cancer treatment. A portion of sales of their unique jewelry goes directly to help those fighting cancer. Through cash donations, fundraisers, sales of their jewelry, and volunteering, they provide meals, transportation, household and financial assistance to someone who should be focused on being well, not the day-to-day stresses of life. The Founder was a recent breast cancer survivor, and she knows how difficult the fight can be while trying to keep up with day-to-day life. Love Out Loud was established from her heartfelt desire to alleviate some of the stress and provide support to those who are fighting by “putting LOVE into ACTION in our community”.
She came to Bluehaus looking for a brand that represented everything she believes in and stands for. A tall and mighty task. Cancer hits many and we wanted to make sure we provided something she would be very proud of.
Often the financial hardship brought on by a critical illness can be so debilitating. Who wants to face the reality of losing your home when you’re ill? Or not being able to feed your children? How do you get to treatment when you can’t afford the gas or parking fees? While keeping this in mind, sometimes a kind service can really start to bring a smile to one's face, even in the darkest of times.
Playing off the LOL (Laugh Out Loud/Lots of Love) acronym, we felt this, plus the use of a heart would definitely show a foundation that truly cares while also trying to help people smile while battling cancer.
An amazing organization that we are honoured to be asked to create their brand. A very tall task that definitely hits very close to home. We believe we helped, albeit in a very small way compared to the monumental ways they help so many, many others.
The founder truly believes "You’re not alone— even if it feels like it.". An amazing woman doing amazing things.
