Description:
logo for a Tanzanian-based aid foundation for youth in that region of Africa. The acacia tree is indigenous to that area and the branches form an unforced silhouette of Africa.

I second that from Clashmore - it's ok, but not gallery material??
ReplyBest thing to do would be to draw some acacia trees for research and work from there, I live in Africa and that is not the best treatment of an acacia tree-Nice type and colours though.
ReplyI like the idea, but agree that the execution could be a lot better. I also agree with Waltermurray about some research... but I think its worth working on as it is a good idea.
ReplyCan't disagree with anything said. Client over-involvement killed this one and it was done third-party so a lot got altered that I would have done differently. But I wanted it up mainly to show concept. **I respectfully note, however that this is an abstracted illo of an actual acacia so take that for what it's worth. But I respect the opinions. Sincerely, thanks for weighing in all, I'm stoked that you're even looking at things and offering crits.
ReplyOk the execution could be better but I love the concept. Would be even better if the leaves formed the Med.
ReplyClimax: Yeah, appreciate that - you da man! %3B) All about opinions isn't it.
