You're right Climax, seems they've recently have revitalized their brand, (a few years ago) but if you see the old logo the Q was different. I created this in about 1998. As of the name, the trade mark laws in Mexico do not accept generic denominations to be registered as brand names, %22la Quinta%22, is something equivalent to say %22the orchard%22 or the %22the house%22 so we check on that time ago and was ok. %22La Quinta Inn%22 as compound name it's effectively a trademark.
