Description: I was given the opportunity to participate in a competition at Stevenson University. Currently, the Film and Video departents are mergining to create the Film and Moving Image department. As a result, they need a new logo. This logo needs to relate to the traditional, hands on process of film, as well as new forms (and those yet to come) of digital media (including motion graphics). This final concept brings us back to basics. The two hands are used to frame a scene, or in this case title, to create a unique, dynamic, and yet symmetrical composition that works at any size, and is very versatile in terms of typography.
