With 10 years as Design Director for FCB Impact to a four-year stint at the two top design shops in Seoul, South Korea, and several years running his own firm, this designer has done it all. Packaging, corporate and brand identity, display design, annual reports and capability brochures – from six packs and bottle labels for Adolph Coors through the creation of Corning's Serengeti brand identity, sunglass displays, packaging, hangtags and product catalogs – and everything in between. In his very successful career, he assumed the lead role in at least a half dozen of Chicago’s hottest design shops. He is fully versed in all aspects of design and four-color reproduction and has an excellent eye for color, form, typography and perspective. He is capable of managing large and small projects alike – frequently at the same time -- and he brings the same careful attention to detail to everything he does. His civic work on the dedication programs for the Miro and Dubuffet Sculptures and State of Illinois building have won international acclaim. Mr. Barr has also held the Director of Marketing posts as several leading manufacturer concerns and provides complete marketing consul to more than a dozen companies in the United States and Asia.
