im thinking it maybe just coincidence im trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but i cant find any info on the app logo he posted so thats what makes it suspicious

If you sent them a DMCA, they might fight back saying they did it in march 2015 while yours is only from Oct. So if you have a copy of it from 2 yrs ago with a time signature to prove that(not just a file creation date bur rather an online time signature), you're in the green. Social media are very effective when it comes to DMCA claims so long as you have your info in order they'll take immediate action. goodluck

I have none of those I did this for fun it was in my sketchbook for two years ago I only recently put it on dribbble an even more recently here. Again its for fun so I have no need to conflict with them its just a coincidence and will leave it at that.

Well it's always better not to get confrontational about it, resolve it amicably BUT think about it from their shoes now. What if they're not so nice as you and come fighting claiming you're infringing given they have proof they did it as early as march? So yeah think about it be on the safe side just in case. You never know with these companies, they'll place it nice and then pull a hard one outta nowhere.
