I have to work way too hard to see what this was supposed to be. When I squint, it doesn't read as a cruise ship nor high heels. It's a great challenge, but I'm not sure how I'd personally pull this off. If I try to see a cruise ship, I'm confused by the block under the bow. When I try to see a high heel, I'm confused by the funnel, which isn't at the right angle to read as a strap. When I try to imagine a foot in the shoe, it doesn't fit. :-P
I'm really not sure how I'd do it. If this were a real business, I'd want to learn which symbol was a higher priority. The "cruise?" Or the "shoes?" My guess is that the higher priority is "shoes," so I'd focus on the readability of the shoe as the FIRST thing that people recognize. Remember to imagine a foot fitting into the shoe. Perhaps high-heels aren't the best shoe to accompany the cruise ship illusion. I'd make the cruise ship the second priority. If the ship's funnel is tilted back slightly, it would help you adjust the "strap" to a more realistic angle. The heel of the shoe needs to accommodate the cruise ship illusion in a way the looks natural. I'd gather more visual reference of ships and shoes. Maybe you'll discover new elements that will make this work.
