Description: Chase Design Group commissioned Steven Noble to illustrate the new Quaker Oats brand mark. The illustration was based on the original logo c. 1900 with several enhanced modifications made to the original rendering. The standing “Quaker Man” was illustrated in a scratchboard engraving style in full-length holding a scroll with the word "Pure" written across it dressed in a Quaker garb chosen because the Quaker faith projected the values of honesty, integrity, purity and strength."
