Description: Working on the logo for Nakua Cafe Artesanal (Handmade Coffee) company located in Bogota, Colombia. Nakua means "ground" and "region" in a dialect spoken by Guahibo natives. Nakua delivers coffee to customers, to their homes and business. Intersting stuff is that the client wanted to honour portrait of his grandmother on the brand. Some polishing needs to be done yet.

This is a great logo, really well done. I live in Hawaii and "Nakua" sounds like a word in the Hawaiian language. At first I thought this was a logo from Hawaii. Interesting how the Guahibo language is similar to the Hawaiian language. "Na" means "belong to" in Hawaiian and "Kua" means the "Back".

@erodley Thanks. Ha, didn't knew that! The story behind the Nakua naming came from the client. Looks like now the Nakua has a double meaning which is really cool :) Thanks again for sharing this.
