Yeah, I was a true advocate against logo contests and still not hip on the idea. If one is to be an advocate on anything I think they need to experience both sides and I have. So after it all, I'm sitting on the fence. I will not participate again but do not knock those that do because I have no idea of their situation or life.:-)
Whoa...I didn't expect that from you. You're against logo contests? But you were kicking everyone's ass at logosauce. You won like at least a dozen comps. You were pretty good at it! Then u just left:-(
LOl not really, but what about all those other designers that where also good and did not win. get my point? The only one really making out is the client and at a cheap price. To each their own though, some people don't have a choice but to enter a contest. It's a very competitive market out there for someone starting out so that's why I say to each their own.
As a graphic design trainee, I think contests are helpful to build up a portfolio ( full creative control of the design and no limitations like CI, time etc...). Also it is a good way to earn more money legaly (assuming, of course, that you win%3B)
dude i was actually gonna call you out and ask why you claimed to be a woman on logosauce and a dude here (cuz i recognized some of your logos).....now i see....were those all her logos on logosauce or yours?? or a combo of both?
@logomotive,**%22..but do not knock those that do because I have no idea of their situation or life.:-) %22**exactly! If only others would keep such a comment in mind. *also, nice work. yoru concept definitely tops my analog x concept that was gallery'd a while back%3B no question.
