Its nice glen but it reminded me of logomotives recent lion one instantly. Either way I think the stroke of the mark is way to heavy for that of the type. Sorry dude
Replymmm yeah logomotives straight away. sorry. http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/35623
ReplyNo apologies necessary. I already had this designed and in the client's hands when I saw logomotive post his. And it was stated that logomotives looked like this: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/35016**The circle of life continues. Client did not choose this version anyway.
ReplyI know what you mean Glen, i could have pointed out a few prior to mine. MGM?,.. ring a bell? Each is done in a unique way IMO some stronger some more clever, some more symmetrical, each has a different style and meaning, yours has a very unique meaning. good job. There are many MORE lions in roundish designs out there people. it's all about the message and execution.
Reply@logomotive: Well said. And IMO your's is a more pleasing design, but being able to incorporate a chalice here in the face...not too shabby either. The circle of life continues..........
ReplyI agree. When we use images that are innate to our repertory, like lions and circles, some similarity will aways be present. Thats inevitable. But the stroke in both drawings are different, as well as the finality. **Both are original distinctive works. Congrats
ReplyI like this, but I went on the circle tour from here to Logomotive's Tuscan lion to Bahrouh's Throne lion to the MGM lion also mentioned here. Very cool seeing so many great designs with a similar look, but such different design. GREAT! Loved them all.
ReplyThanks sebastiany/theartist. It is an interesting exploration to see the varied executions on a theme.
