Description: Logo for a Chai-centric coffee shop. The fleur de lis represents the European influence on the Indian culture. The symbol is made of a tea leaf as well as water drops alluding to Kempty Falls in India, which got its name from the Europeans' "Camp Tea".

A lot of companies ...or some - have adapted the fleur symbol. Most known in my part is Riis Company**http://www.newbiz.com.ua/pics/fran66/logo_b.png**...I wouldn't be to conserned. This logo has a valid consept behind it.**If you want to know more about the fleur symbol ...feel free to read about it here. **http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleur-de-lis*****

Thanks action for the info. I read quite a bit on the fleur symbol. It being a stylized lily also came in to play as my client views lilies as near divine in his indian culture. My next logo is going to have a globe for a mark. I don't think anybody has ever done that before.

I meant that statement as sarcasm. I'm not the best designer ever by far but I might be the most sarcastic.

No you're the most hyperbolic :-)

I'm really digging this logo gthobbs (more then then other one), but I think the box and octagon behind it are unnecessary.

The box and hex have a larger purpose in the expanded branding (think cup wraps, coasters etc). However to your point, the logo can be used with or without those details. Thanks for looking gyui and muse!

Love your take on the fleur de lis.

Thanks Kev. This is one of those where all the symbolism was just too good to be true.

Fleur-de-licious. Living in Louisiana I can't escape the Fleur-de-lis, yet I love it. You have done a bang up job on it. Firenze uses one combined with another flower, pretty neat. **http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e0/Fleur_de_lis_of_Florence.svg/250px-Fleur_de_lis_of_Florence.svg.png
