Description: Designed for JMG Networth as the trademark for their new package. I think they kinda ruined the logo when they put it on the site.

Looks a bit like an earth worm gone wrong. Maybe it is the colors. I don't know.

I like the effect they did in the logo on the site. Takes away the sick earth worm look in my opinion. Sorry. But I hate that the company included the name in the effect. Makes your eyes weird.

I'm going to call this the _%22sick earth worm%22_ review :-)**I don't make excuses for my designs and I won't do it here, but I did want to mention that, earth tones were a key component in the design process. It was hard trying to incorporate earth tones with the burgundy the client had ask for but in the end they were very pleased.*Having said that, I stand by my decisions made on this project and I respect your opinion as a designer. Thanks for your feedback!

Hey, it is great you stand by it. Especially if it worked for the client. In the end the logo belongs to them, not to you. I'm glad you uploaded it as well and did not take offense at my off the cuff comments.

I think that knowing how to take criticism has been a key component in my development as a designer.**I welcome all feedback on my designs whether they are in production or not simply because I may miss something the could break the presentation!**Thanks again for your feedback %7BTRISH%7D, and good luck at *DI* %26 *M*!

Thank you. I appreciate it.**When I was fresh out of college and full of myself, I lost a lot of jobs because I couldn't %22let go%22 of a design. I had all these rules in my head that clients couldn't have cared less about without the experience to back up my opinions. I had to change or get a job at wallyworld. Maybe I go too far to the other extreme today. Oh well.**It's funny, that Renita logo is taking a lot of flack, but because of it I have Real Estate agents lined up to have me design their logos. Sure, it won't get me a graphics job at a posh design firm, but then I'm too old for that kind of job anyway.**I look forward to seeing more of your work!

You can have every realtor in the country if you want them. Be my guest.

A client list full of narcissistic sales people... shudder. I won't turn work away. Better than having them make my life miserable during a day job.

Cheap a%24%24 narcissistic sales people. And I do turn work away so as not to be miserable.

Pardon my rudeness. It's just that I've crossed paths with numerous (and I do mean numerous) realtor clients over the past 18 years and find Seinfeld's words %22stereotypes exist for a reason%22 to be apt in this case. In my experience they have been the cheapest, most difficult and most aesthetically challenged clients pretty much across the board. But that's just my experience which perhaps I should keep to myself. Wish you all the best in yours.

Your experience is pretty much dead on. Anyway, matches my own. I would expand it to include most any direct sales type client. My son just got diagnosed with a congenital brain defect. Nope, I cannot turn work away. As long as they pay the half up front, I'll do what I can for them.
