A popular shopping center needed a new visual identity, starting with the logo and ranging to a complete wayfinding system. The design brief described the desired feel to be like a signet ring, an established, exclusive brand.
We wanted to maintain a connection with the old logo design. I removed all that was superfluous – four squares remained. I added a fifth with the monogram centrally on top of them. With white letters against a black background it sports an appearance of a top fashion brand label. The customized lettering resembles famous brands like Gucci or Coco Chanel.
