Katabatic Digital is new company aimed at providing cutting edge digital post production and visual FX services for the film, television, and web markets. Katabatic Digital is the first in a tiered approach to launching sister company, Katabatic Pictures which made it important to have a unique, strong, yet somewhat graceful design which would be flexible enough for both. The end result is inspired by the 'golden era' of 3-D film which used anaglyph glasses.

I think you hit the mark, dache. It's simple and elegant, yet it has this crazy neon glow thing going. It fits the clients (effects) industry spot on. *Brilliant! (pun intended).

ReplyUnfortunately, KATABATICDIGITAL is too long and somehow it irritates the eye. Maybe you could try a bigger contrast between the two words (Black %26 Light or Thin) or move the digital below the KATABATIC?
Replyneogrey is kinda right, but i think the logo works best without any words, just the K
